383 stroker with turbo?
I have recently stroked my 78 to a 383 and put a 700R4 tranny behind it. I am thinking about adding a turbo to it but was wonering if anyone out there has done this before and if so what upgrades would I need to do? Thanks for the help.

LT1er is right about the trans, nothing else. Big G just put down 625 WHEEL HP through a stock diff on 325 drag radials. I'm putting out prob about 700 flywheel hp, also stock diff.
You just need to upgrade the u-joints and get some stiff springs and decent shocks.
There are a few guys in here that have done turbos. The easiest solution is a roots blower or a centrifugal blower.
No one makes a kit, so you'll need to get turbo manifolds for a SBC and figure it out yourself. Clearance with the brake booster will be an issue with a dual turbo setup, big single on the pass side is the way to go.
