hooker header installation
i just put teh motor in my car again, and the headders are aabout to go on. it seems like they rest on the fiberglass on the bottom of the car. they also might hit the rockedr pannel or aluminum under teh door (i dont konw the right word for it) does anyone know if anything need to be cut off of the body? or any othre installation procedures that need to be done to put them on? Also i need to know how to torque the bolts because i cant get a ratchet on the bolts there is not enough room. what do i do? what do i do to the car to get tehm to fit i thought tehy were a direct bolt on.

Marc. You might have to trim the bottom of the fiberglass a little. Go slow so you don't take off any more than needed. The rocker panels should be off the car to put on the headers, unless your the LUCKY one who doesn't have to. My drivers side fits great. The passenger side will have to be trimmed slightly. On the bolts for the headers, I think sometimes because of space or lack of it, you do the best you can. I've be told to check every so often and tighten carefully. Don't over tighten.
