Default Distributer Replacement on 72 L48
I've been trying to get my vacuum advance to work properly and my points/coil are iffy. Found a replacement distributer on Zip to upgrade to HEI to eliminate all those issues. I've very interested in making the change. The add said that all I had to do was run a hot wire to the new cap. Has anyone else made this modification? Should I do it? Detailed instruction about changing a distributer? Thanks for the feedback.

No I'd keep the orginal and put in petronix

Take the time to learn how to maintain your stock unit. The attraction to HEI is unfounded in most cases.
