Default engine bearing question

Working on a 77 L82 engine, removed oilpan to replace damaged pan and leaking gasket, removed windage tray just to have a look and noticed 3 rod caps stamped with # as you do in a rebuild which never was done says pre owner(heard that one)crank seams to be in good shape(have not removed all bearings yet)but the stamped caps are not in order of stamping thinking parts were some bench parts the bearings that Ive looked at look real good as do piston skirts and cylendar walls bearings seam to have GM .0005 os 5 77 on them but it hard to tell does anyone have any ideas did the factory do any stamping Ive never seen this before pre owner says never was rebuilt but pan gasket was a one piece Iam going to put new bearings in bottom end and plastigage everything but just wondering if Im missing something here

I guess maybe I worded this wrong. I know someones been in motor regardless of what pre owner says but have any of you heard of a .0005 over bearing I know they make a thousands over bearing but five tenths seams a bit odd thats spliting some hairs did the factory do any fine tuning on these engines in 77 I know now one guy builds engine from start to finish but back then. just wondering

If you have #s stamped in different order than that engine has been pulled apart in a major way. I would hate to think of someone mixing up the pistons and rods with the cylinders. Now thats a BUBBA!
