Intermittent Starting
It seems that every time I start to get the Vette on the road something happens. Anyhow, the issues at hand now is - sometimes it starts sometimes not. It's turning over but it's not firing....there is no spark; it happened Sunday morning. It happened Sunday morning and Sunday evening I went to troubleshoot and it fired right up. It's not a fuel problem.
A little history: a month ago I spent a day trying to get it to start. I had 12V at the dist (key in run .... not start), pickup coil ohmed out good. Swapped module, coil, rotor cap. After putting everything back .... it starts....that was a month ago. All was good up until Sunday. I'm scratching my head .... and leaning towards 12v to distributor when ignition key is in start position. I haven't gotten back to it .... because it wants to start again...but I'm afraid to drive it and get stranded.
