Default Poor Customer Service from "Performance Suspension Technology"

I wanted to relay an experience I had with "Performance Suspension Technology", who markets poly suspension kits for many cars. I had ordered a rear suspension kit for my C2 on 2/28 and had not received anything yet.

They gave me a FedEx tracking number - when I checked with FedEx, they said the number was in their system but they had not picked up the package (this was on 3/18).

After speaking with a customer service manager, they said they have to do a trace and it will take another 7-10 business days (2 weeks) before they could determine whether they'll reship my parts. I pleaded with the manager that this was between them and FedEx, since the part was never shipped or delivered, but got nowhere.

I also found out the following:
I ordered on 2/28, they charged my credit card on 3/1, but they did not even try to ship until 3/6. Why the nearly week long "float" of my money?

I've since cancelled the order and diputed the charge with my credit card company.

Anyone have a similar experience?

jkmhb,
You might try Global West in Ontario (doug 877-470-2975) they make some very nice stuff, ask about the "del-alum bushings" poly/aluminum a-frame bushings they are the trickest i have ever seen. I can save you some money on a set as i have an extra set if you want a-frame bushings.

Hmm...

I've ordered from PST 3 times and never a problem. Good products too....

I would call them and remind them that you are active on a Corvette Forum with 30,000 active members and that BAD reviews spread like the plague. They can only satisfy you at this point with overnight service and a steep discount!!!!

Good luck...Can't hurt to ask. Tell them your time alonee is worth more than the parts at this point.

if this is true, a company should NEVER charge until the product ships. Most vendors state this in their policy.

2 words......Energy Suspension. They don't sell direct but you can get their product from MANY vendors. All of my suspension is from them, excellent product.
