Rebuild AC Compressor????
I have a 69' and the AC Compressor has just locked up. Can these compressors be rebuilt or is it better to purchase another? I would really like to keep the compressor I have since it is original to the car.

It should be able to be rebuilt.
There are A-6 compressor rebuild kits, but in order to rebuilt it, there are some special tools required, so it's probably easier to have it professionaly rebuilt.
