Default Power Guestimates?

My 74 is making 280 rwhp and 315 rwtq right now w/RHs and duals.
TFS heads, AG w/650 Demon, 218-224 HR w/1.6RRs

My question is this: Will the 315 rwtq become 315+ rwhp once the ex is unplugged? The power is already there.
How much are my smog legal RHs holding my combo back?
I go back and forth on which headers I want to upgrade to?
My cam is a tq cam, but shouldn't the tq/hp be close?
Anything over 300 rwhp and 325 rwtq should put my close to
12 sec territory! That and 20 mpg would be sweet! TIA

Put headers on it and 2 1/2" dual exhaust with good mufflers you may hit or be close to 300RWHP and your torque will go up not down
like the wives tales of yesteryear would say. How do I know ? Because I have done it

300RWHP on our Gen 1 350ci motors is not that easy to do as many might think and have a street friendly motor. We have huge losses in our drivetrain compared to the newer cars. My warmed over L48 never did make 300RWHP, 297RWHP was the last pull I made with 334RWT, still mucho fun

Default My Day is Ruined!

MotorHead: I was hoping that your experience would tell me that I will get
315 rwhp and 350 rwtq!
I can see that some AFRs will be needed for that!
I guess that 300 rwhp and 335 rwtq will just have to do.

If someone with, say, 300hp and 330torque to the wheels were to go from the super T10 four speed to a TKO500, what would could one expect to gain, if any?

Anyway to calculate that, or does it depend too much on rear gear and cam?
