I would.
I bet you'll be more than happy with the baffles as they ship them to you.

Loud pipes save lives! Unless you buy a 07+ Harley then the stock baffles suck. But seriously my 80 Vettes sidepipes are louder than my Harley...

Personally I enjoy the sweet thunder mufflers they arent too loud for me but then again it does suck running high rpm in drive (3rd) If I had the cash I would go with an OD transmission or try to pack some fiberglass cloth or something inside?

I don't mean to hijack but do the STS really helps save on gas and hp by sucking out the back pressure or is it just a marketing making up stuff?

Instead of looking for a way to quiet your pipes just; add some sound instalation to the interior so it isn't so loud for you. Plus it will help your car stay cool on the inside.

Save gas? High HP 4 speed foot to the floor most of the time....
couldn't tell you what my mileage is. Can't say that I ever cared on the Vette.

As for sucking out back pressure, I would tend to think yes, that's in the design. Most good exhaust has this idea built in though.

The nice things about STS are:
Tunable for just about any HP.
Tunable for noise level.
Side pipes stay cooler than with other mufflers as the air continues moving around the inside of the side tubes.
Stainless material. (no rust)
Last for ever vs glass pack mufflers that rot out in a year or two.
The welds and material quality are good also.
