You need a different parts outlet. As for the 3-outlet choice, look at the one on there now and see. It may be different for 49-state vehicles VS: Calif vehicles so look at your emissions label.
Airtex pump 41240 is the correct 1978 Corvette.. 49709 is a 1972 fuel pump for a 350, and 40770 is a 454 pump. There is only one correct pump, not two......you must order by year, make, and engine. ie 350-454.

I agree with year make and model.
But P/O transplanted another 350ci engine, witch I dont know the year of.
But the 85gph is what I think im going with, 3 outlet.
