Need carb help
My car has been overheating at freeway speeds since my motor build,
and I am told that it may be that my carb is running lean.
So how can I tell if it is or not, and how can I fix it?
It is the stock q-jet from the stock low-performance 1979.
The motor its on has flattop hypereutectic pistons, 64cc Sportsman II
heads, and stock intake/distributor (but I've got an edelbrock performer
manifold on the way to help out the intake)
I've got another q-jet off of a 71 chevelle. Its been sitting in the trunk
of a parts car for 8 or 9 years and needs work done to it. How much would
it cost to have that one fixed up for my motor? Or would it be better to
just go ahead and buy an edelbrock carb?
