Paso I used PB blaster to loosen them up. That stuff is great. To get the pipe off the header unbolt it , take a flat large screwdriver and wedge open the pinch clamp. Then just pull it back and forth and it'll slid off.
Then bang the header end of the pipe on a block of wood to loosen the insert . Grab it with large pliers to pull it out a little. Then dump a bunch of PB balster in the pipe. Grab the insert with pliers and pull/.push it in and out with the Ram stroke on the Out pull. This cuts the carbon and eventually Inch by inch, it comes out...
MIke , Paso When your ready to do this LMK I have some tricks to save mistakes and time.

Close on bouth counts... I've been meeting with another company and I think things are very close. I'm hoping to start there by next week if everything works out! As far as the house goes we had a couple of issues to deal with after the home inspection... so we are waiting to see what the homeowner's plan is... either they are going to have to fix a couple of things or lower their price a tad... shouldn't be a deal breaker, but the stuff has got to be fixed if we buy it or someone else does. We'll see... of course every day that goes by intrest rates are going up too! :(
It's been a busy couple of weeks and it dosen't look like it will calm down for a little while yet!!! :cry  :D
