Have any tips to gain access to the transmission cooling lines on the side of the radiator? This is for an 80 vette... I just can't get my hand in there and really don't want to remove the entire radaitor setup....
Not sure of your setup (cooling line tubes in front or rear of radiator), but I have accessed this same area by removing the fan/fan clutch, then if necessary, the fan shroud (may have to remove upper radiator hose also). Good luck.

Thanks
A small pipe wrench (5" long) will bite and let you remove the fittings. Only solution I know of without doing it right and removing parts.

My connections are on the front of the radiator.
