Anyone running a TPIS Miniram on a C3 that was originally a carbed 350? Whats needed to make the intake swap work? Im guessing fuel pump and ecu? Will a ecu from a TPI car work assuming you get a tune or will you have to swap in a whole new harness?
Short list would include; Computer friendly distributor (no weights or springs) EFI fuel pump, tank mods (good thread going right now) return line, high flow filters, etc. As for as an ECU, I favor laptop programmable for modded engines. Either way you leave the stock car harness alone and just add the EFI harness. For the mini-ram, check to see where your accessories, pulleys and belts might interfere as it is a forward facing unit.
Randy 682XLR8 on the forum has put a Gen2 LT1 intake on his Gen1 383 motor. Maybe give him a IM for deatils. The LT1 swap would be far cheaper than TPS intake set-up and give simular results.

Yep, sure did I STILL need to do a write-up on it....
I had considered the Mini-ram, as according to the research I had done on the C4 forum it is a direct swap for the TPI, but even used manifolds are expensive(over $800) and couldn't get it it to fit into the budget.
If you already have the manifold, you can use the stock ECU or an aftermarket computer and wiring harness(F.A.S.T. #302000 is what I am using)
