Side Pipe Question for my C3 *Please help*
Hi All,
Yesterday I posted a thread requesting comparable info on side mount exhaust compared to rear end. There was great feedback! Thanks.
My dilemma as it turns out is the inability to locate / purchase the Hooker Super Comp side tubes to go with the readily available Headers. I spoke with all the big, and not so big part dealers as well as Hooker tech support. The side tubes are completely back ordered until July / August.
Can anyone help with suggestions on other vendors who make a good tube to fit the super comp headers (or other side mount exhaust vendors who make a good product).
Any / all assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!

If you like black or ceramic coated, Summit shows them to be in stock.

Alas, I have my heart set on chrome, or stainless (chrome is the first choice)

I did find many sites who showed them "In-Stock" only to find that a bit of an exaggeration when calling in to double check.

Those guys dont have them either. I guess some guys want to hook you with the order before you discover they dont have the part.
Thats your second time trying to help. Thank you very much!!!!!! Its pretty frustrating. I spent quite a bit of time trying to find the right set up, and now I cant buy it.

Okay, after about 5 hours of internet searching and phone calls I just ordered a set of Hooker side tubes.
I found them on Amazon listed as headers in the Auto Parts Way store. They were listed as Headers not tubes. After calling, India I think, the rep read me the desc and it looks as if I have my side tubes.
