Rearend gear?
I have a 74 with the l-82 350 auto. Any idea what rearend gear it came with from factory? At 55 mph its pushing 2500 rpms. It shifs fine in all gears. So use to an overdrive tranny. thanks!

If you have air conditioning, then you have a 3:55. It was the only ratio available with the L-82 and auto in 74. Without air, the 74 L-82 auto came standard with 3:55 and the 3:70 was optional.
