Went to start the Stingray today and she just wouldn’t. The battery is okay and she tries to crank but she just won’t turn over.
Drove her last weekend and she started fine.
There is a half tank of gas and I don't see any prominent gas leaks anywhere. I am wondering if there is any fuel getting to the engine? How can you tell if the fuel pump is working?
Just looked through the AIM on CD. There are two hoses, feed and return that come off the fuel pipes to the fuel pump on the passenger side of the engine.
P278 of AIM has the fuel pump
Pp334-336 of AIM show the pipes, hoses for the fuel connection
I may be going in the wrong direction. Any help is appreciated.

Remove the air cleaner and as you open the throttle see if you get two streams of gas from the accelerator pump.
If not remove the hard line where it goes into the carb and have a helper crank the motor and see if gas pumps into the can you have in front of the fuel line, or put a pressure tester on the line.
Also while your there see if the choke is working and change the fuel filter.
I can't tell in your post whether you're saying the motor is turning freely with the electric motor, just not firing. OR the electric motor doesn't have enough punch to turn the engine over. If the electric motor isn't spinning the engine, there is a ground that runs from the battery straight down to the frame. That is easy to clean with a wire brush and fix. There is also one from the engine block to the frame right in front of the starter. Fusable links can also appear to be ok but be shot on the inside, allowing just enough current to hide their fault.
My 74 would have a seemingly good battery but couldn't turn the engine over due to these corroded grounds. Another big thing that helped me was putting the right battery back in the car. I went through several high dollar Optima Red Tops and my car would just burn em out, didn't like em. Put a performance conventional Delco in there and it starts/runs like a real champ!
