Found out wife is attached to Vette!
My wife and daughter just came back from shopping a little while ago. My wife was pissed at me for some unknown reason. She is usually pretty easy going so I thought I really did something wrong. Anyway, my 6 year old daughter apparently told her that I was selling the Corvette. I was told that I wasn't going to be selling it! Of course I never said such a thing - ever.
During all this I said "The only way I'll sell it is if we get a roadster". She said "Ya - that would be allright".
What?? Did I just get approval for a roadster???
BTW - my daughter says it would be allright to sell it if I can get "more than 100 bucks" for it.

Hay I found out my Wife is also attached to my vette. I tried to get rid of my Wife and found out that she and the kids would take everything I own.

Well let me tell you a little story. Two years ago I fell in love with a 1965 Red Coupe on EBay. In Virginia. It would have meant parting with my 1979 but I dearly wanted a C2. So that was fine. And it was gorgeous. So what that it was $1000.00 shipping to Canada. I bid on it several times to $20,000US. The Wife came home and I told her I her I had found my dream car. I showed her the EBay pics. Her reaction was: But it has a roof, I do not want to drive around in a Corvette with a roof! Oops....I sweated the end of the auction (and a six-pack) and was out-bid by $100.00. Yesssss. The Wife still enjoys my 1979 and its t-tops. I am still looking for a C2....Roadster.

You're a lucky man.
I've had my Corvette for almost 8 years and I can count on one hand the number of times she's ridden in it. :(

Yep - I'm pretty happy right now. I knew she liked it but didn't think she really cared much.
Anar76 - She's six years old - I think I'll cut her a little slack - THIS TIME.
Ed! - Yep - I immediately though of a right year white roadster that's FS at the right price!

And my 5 year old daughter makes me drive her to school + daycare in it...

I'll give you $130 for it...you know, if it'll make your daughter happy...
Well that just leaves more time for you to drive it!
