That's better than my luck. I was out in Utah, in the Air Force, and ordered tires through the base auto store. The wheels were being polished, so I ordered tires two weeks out. They said they would be in well ahead of time. I called two days before I was scheduled to get the wheels to them, and they confirmed that the tires were in. I showed up at 8 am. They couldn't find the tires but they didn't tell me that until 9:30. :mad I sat and waited until noon because someone had to drive over 30 min each way to pick up the tires. They had been delivered to the wharehouse, instead of to the auto shop. But hey, I sat around the whole time talking to a really cute gal that was working in the coffee shop, and then I got the road hazard warranty and mount and balance completely for free.

Close to the same here. For one of my daileys, I ordered P6000 summer tires in a VR rating. Locals could order them for $540 mounted and everything (not in stock). I ordered from TireRack on Tuesday, local warehouse was out so had them shipped from Louisiana. I gotta call today at noon that the tires were here. Cost from from Tire Rack was $333 with shipping, plus $40 for locals to mount and balance. Tire rack saved me $170 on four tires!

Mounting and balancing was going to be an addl $40 for me also, but a guy at work said he would remove the old, mount & balance the new for free!!! As far as improved cornering and lower ET, I'll find out soon. I want to polish and re-paint the blacked out areas on my wheels before I have the new tires mounted.
