Guys,
I have a 71 Vert. I have a problem that is driving me a little nuts. Every time I drive the car and rev the motor over 4500 rpm, the fuse for the directionals and backup lights blow. If I drive under 4500, it never blows. I checked the screw in the lower steering column cover, I looked at the harness all the way to the rear. No other issues. HELP...
I
check for shorts near the b/u switch and also near the muffler on the drivers side. the wire may have contacted the hot exhaust and melted the insulation.
