79 dash light don't work
hey guys,I'm actually asking this for my dad so thanks for any help you can provide..his 79 dash lights don't work and we've checked everything we know to check(fuses,wiring,bulbs)can't find the problem..anyone have any ideas?thanks again

You can try using a test light to see if you have power to the light sockets. You can try running a seperate ground to see if that makes them work. The headlight switch on my '76 has a dimmer built into it. Rotating it counter clockwise makes the dash lights brighter. On mine it's a little touchy, if you pull out on the switch a little the dash lights work and if you push it in a little they don't.

Give it the jiggle and twist test after double checking the fuses. I think its a small 5 or 10 amp fuse
