Hello!
I've been reading this forum for a while and like to introduce myself now. First of all I'm from Finland, greetings to all finnish guys here, especially Groovyjay! I'm now buying my first vette, looking for -68 to -77, but any C3 will do... This forum has already given me lots of good information about buying a vette! Thanks to all of you!

Hi,
Hope you get a good one. The usual advice of don't buy the 1st you see is worth listening to.... unless, like me, the 1st one you see is good & is the one you want.
Are there many C3's in Finland? It took quite a while for me to find mine (& I wasn't being particularly choosy about year & options), even though there are quite a few over here. When/if you finally get one it will take about a week to get the grin off of you face :D
Good luck
Paul

As far as I know there is about 300 C3's in Finland, total amount of Corvettes is about 850... More information (and pics) about corvettes in Finland can be found from my homepage, the link is in my signature...
I have had corvette fever since I was about 9 years old and now after 15 years of waiting it is finally time for me to fullfill the dream! I think that the grin in my face is going to last longer than a week... :D :D :D

Good luck in your search. You are now in one of the most exciting times of corvette ownership I like to call the hunt. I wore my wife out going and looking. We looked at probably 10 to 15 vettes in my area before settling on the 70. It was about 80 miles from my house. I got a nice sunburn coming home the first day. :D
