Default Loose Light Green wire in Engine Compartment

Guys
Just bought 81' Vette and starting my adventure with old cars

I was looking at the engine and found a Light green wire that is not connected anywhere.( it was just laying on the engine block under air filter pan . It comes from bunch of wires with number 5 on it, on passenger side fender. it has a broken clip at the end.

no idea where it should be connected,

can you guys help??

Thanks in Advance

Looks like an add-on connector it comes from. Are there other wires in the connector that feed something?

Put a meter on the loose end and see if it hot when ignition is on and again when engine is running. Anyway to trace where the connector comes from?

Could it be anything to do with the underhood light????

This is your choke, probably best to get it hooked up and working correctly.
