Default removable back glass?

Had to take my back light out as it was leaking anyway. But now I am thinking about modifying my 75 so that it has the earlier removalble glass feature of the earlier models.
First -Can it be done reasonably easy?
Two-parts needed?

I think I've seen it somewhere...it's something I've been thinking of doing to my 75 too.

I am deleting the AC, so it seems like a good idea for some flow thru venting

Mngas,

Yes it can be done!

The hard part is finding the parts! You'd really need a complete rear window assembly the locks and the guides on the body. You can modify your old roof panels.

Willcox,

Any chance of you guys putting together a kit and/or a list of YOUR part numbers? That would be awesome.

Thanks
John

I just did mine today. It took me all day but wasn't to hard. It would have been easier if I had measurements on where to drill the holes. Luckily I didn't have to oblong the holes much. I think I have to do a little more fitting on the upper latches as I think they require a little to pressure to latch. A complete kit would be great.

John,

I'm sorry, the only way to get the parts us used. I don't have any of it extra. Finding the rear window storage tray is also a bear! But every now and then you'll find them listed on the Bay.. or on the List..
