Slight Missfire?
Guys, I have a rebuilt 327 only as of 2 years ago, all new plugs, wires, edelbrock 600 carb. The dist is a Summit 850001 HEI with a tach drive. It ran fine till this year and I now notice a slight mis when cruising at a steady speed. It is not steady , it seems to be random misfire. I ran my hands down each plug wire to see if I might have a bad wire or arching but found nothing. Pulled the pugs and all look perfect. Could the electronics inside the dist be causing the problem? Is there a way to check it? Can it be replaced or do I need an entire dist assembly?
