Headed to Afgahnistan
Just wanted to tell all my old C3 buddies bye for a while. I am headed to Bagram AB and won't be back for a year or so...so keep me in your thoughts.

Best wishes..! Just wondering.. When you first got the word you were going.. did you first think about taking pictures of your car or pictures of our girlfriend with you.. of course one with the girlfriend on the car would be the best.. Thanks and good luck ..

It is always rough being away from your family for that long. My turn is coming some time soon (Canadian Air Force) and I'm sure that will be the worst part. best of luck and god speed.

I was in the first one that had the feature. Look at my Avitar...it was my '70 with its black stripe that was in the magazine. I think the cover had a NYC Fireman with his Red C3.
