1968+ Big Block vs. Small Block - which one ?
First question for $500 :jester - IF a big-block car gets it's eng. yanked and replaced by a small-block it's no longer considered a big-block (just go along with it). However, if a small block car is 'converted' to a big-block, is it now considered a big-block car ???
Second question for $100 :jester (note that there are several answers) - What features on a '68 (or C3 without doc. / console plate) identifies it as a 'Big Block' corvette ???
#1 question...hmmmm, more difficult to answer, probably several opinions on this. If your not looking at #'s matching, then no big deal either way. I know I would buy a ex-BB car that had a small block in it if it was a good deal, you can always slap another BB in it. Converting the small block car to a BB car would be a little more time consuming though, but it can be done, & has been done, probably even at the NCRS level.
Just my .02...
