No thanks I can think of better was to spend money on my car and it's not a grocery getter any way.
:yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:
I agree, this is definately sinister, it seems to be implying that you would be using your Corvette to TRANSPORT... get this... ITEMS of some sort.
I have heard rumor that people actually do this, but this new evidence sickens me.
There is enough room to put the T-tops in the back, your main squeeze in the passenger seat and you in the driver seat and I have no idea how raising the hatchback would help facilitate this.
yes its true ..i too have shared in the unbelivable act of believe this "grocery shopping" yes i said it..grocery shopping with the vette..ive even ingaged in the act of using the vette as a daily driver..unbelivable but true... :jester
Oh BELIEVE ME, in the summer I use the Vette for everything I can think of!
Grocerys, You bet!
But I put them in the passenger seat :D
Trips to the hardware store? Oh Yea!
Nothing better than driving into the lumber yard in a '69 Vette and loading a couple of bags of rock saltt into the passenger footwell! Especially since it's kept in an enclosed area, man those sode pipes rumble in there :smash:
I've got a rack made out of PVC pipe that mounts to the luggage rack. You should see the looks I get when I load a couple of 4x8 sheets of plywood on the vette and drive off.
Now does that help or hinder the rear spoiler effect?
At first I thought, buy the kit to reproduce it. Check out all the parts!
I thought it would be a few hinge points, two
hood gas shocks and a latch. There must be a hundred tiny pieces.
Now that would be nice for new/extra putting the parts in the car...

About once a month, on the way to a weekly Wednesday night Cruise, I stop at a "Best Feed" store that's along the route...and buy two 50lb. sacks of "Black Oil Sunflower Seeds" for the birds & squirrels. The employee who carries them out to the '62 just shakes his head when I tell him to dump the sacks onto the passenger floorboard    . At the Cruise, spectators viewing the Vette tell me I should be hung ; I tell them I AM ! :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:

Apparently, the seller had an overinflated estimate of their worth. :smash:
The '79-'82 (and '78 Pace Car) seats are great, because they hinge in the middle of the back. Getting stuff in the "cargo hold" is really easy. On the second day we had the car, we went to Big Lots, bought a bunch o' stuff and put it back there (hey, that's how we can afford a Vette!)
I sold the one that was in my '79 for like $350 on eBay!!! I'm gonna call that guy up and demand my grand!!! Mine wasn't in great shape though. :D

Uuhhhh....I use my '75 to roll up to a job site in style. I often carry around about 100lbs of tool boxes, a six-pack cooler, my laptop computer, and a hand truck...
