Hooker Side Pipe Help
Could someone please measure the length of the side tube (from the bottom to the top)? I'm just looking for a measurement of the of side tube itself, not including the header. I'm just double checking to make sure i have the correct side pipes for my Corvette. Thank you :cheers:

I got black ones. I got the pipes used and they are sitting in my basement with a fresh coat of high temperature paint on them ready for installation. I suppose I could probably take some pictures of them :).

Cool! That's what mine are. I just wanted to make sure I didn't get the short style side pipes. Do yours go the entire way back to the end of your door right in front of your rear tire? Thanks Paso!

Bence. I didn't realize Hooker made a short sidepipe? All I have dealt with have been the standard 45", except for the Camaro at 56.5". Stahls are going to be 48" for that set up. Have you seen them short? How did they Look? JCL :cool: :cool: :chevy "Sidepipes are the way"

On one of the Jeg's covers it has a duece coupe with chrome side pipes (they look like Hooker side pipes). I guess I just kind of assumed that Hooker made different length side pipes. BTW you were correct my side pipes do have 2 1/8" primaries :D.

Those shields look exactly like the ones off of my Dynomax Side Pipes. I have no plans of putting the heat shields on...ya gotta take the burns like a man :D. I can't wait to drop this engine in and hear the open headers rumble!
