bumper install help

Yea Im new to this and corvettes. I bought the car and brought it home today, it had the bumpers off when I got it . my question is how do the bumpers attach to the car. Its a 75 thanks

they are called bumper retainers.... Check the sites of say willcox or ecklers.

are you referring to the bumper cover or the actual bumper?

Like others have said there are metal strips with the bolts attached. Do an ecklers search for bumper and it will show you the pictures. I used the long preformed strips rather than the single retainers. In my opinion the strips give a more even draw down of the cover to the body

Retainers

Visit any of the corvette shops... zip, etc and order a set of retainers. It's a special type of nut and bolt and you can get the whole kit.
