Default Electric Fan Mount

I am trying to mount my electric fan to an aftermarket Alum radiator and looking at various options for making up mounting brackets. Everthing I read about using the zip ties to an Alum radiator eventually turns out bad...
Has anyone mounted an electric fan to the front side and used it as a pusher fan instead of a puller? The hood is not ready to be mounted so I am not sure if there is enough room for clearance when the hood opens... Let me know your thoughs and if anyone has any pictures of what they have made to mount an aftermarket fan to an Alum radiator please post it...
I am getting so close to getting this car on the road and ready for Carlisle...

Mounting ANYTHING to an aluminum radiator using push through (zip ties, etc). is a very bad idea - it will leak.

"Pusher" fans perform quite poorly relative to pullers.

A pic of how I mounted the Dual Spals

That's how I did mine also. I used spacers at the top but used the mount holes for the shroud at the top and ran a strip of aluminum down to the bottom of the radiator support and drilled holes and mounted the bottoms to it. I like the pull a lot better too and I'm pretty sure there won't be enough room on the front when you try and raise your hood. I'm glad too that I'm not the only one not running a fan shroud pws69.

PWS69, what is holding the fan shroud to the radiator?
It looks like it's mounted to the top, I just can tell how it's connected...
I appreciate the advice about the pusher vs puller directions with regards to cooling...
