Default route s/p wires different with headers?

I just installed new patriot headers and still have the stock spark plug wire runs going down the back of the engine and along the block. Should I route the wires differently with the headers? I am also looking to replace them with some better wires and a higher coil - any suggestions?

thanks,

down the back and along the block with 90 degree plug boots is nice and out of the way. Just make sure there is adequate room from the headers.....Out of sight, out of mind....keeps the engine bay clean without wires hanging everywhere. It would be the first thing a person would notice if on top. If there 7MM wires replace them with like sets....Forget about a coil, waste of money if the car runs now....

on my 82 i replaced my wires i put them under the headers out of site .i would never go back to the stock location .i replaced my coil and did see some gain .i think that coils do lose power over time [IMO]
