Replacement Tach cable Q's...
Since my tach cable & housing are now trash I'm looking to get a replacement.
Questions:
1. Are all the aftermarket ones like the one from Zip longer than stock?
2. Any issues using the longer one?
Got my insulation kit from MadVette today and I want to go ahead and get a tach cable in while I've got the interior stripped...

I used the replacement longer one and actually found it to be better than the original. It allowed a more generous arc which appears to let the cable turn freely compared to the original. YMMV.
edit: I also replaced mine with the interior in and, apart from a minor struggle, it's not that painful. Took me 15 minutes.
