My little girl is thirsty. She has begun to drink her collingwater.I suspect that the intakegasket is poor. The car smokes a little bit more when cold from the left enginebank. My Chevy G20(van) had the same problem and it was the gasket.Any other idees?
There are 3 ways I can think of.
1. Intake gasket
2. Head gasket
3. Cracked head
When my truck starting using coolant you can guess it wasn't one of the cheap gasket fixes
Forgot one, cracked cylinder sleeve. Thats as bad as it can get.

Ouch...I felt that one in the wallet..block it have only about 3000Km on her since a complete rebuild..Accourding the previous owner, she have been doing this once before, and it turned out to be the gasket..She don`t drink much so i`ll be waiting untill the season ends and take her apart then...
Theres spring for real in Sweden now..All the blondes a creeping out of the woodwork..
I'd start by pulling the intake and seeing if I could see some "tracking" of the anti freeze below the gasket. More then likely it's 1 of the gaskets(intake or head). Did it badly overheat recently? That is what cracked my head.

BB I had a micro leak in the radiator. The car leaked 1 - 2 qts of coolant per week
It only leaked when hot and it was soo small that I couldn't see any coolant on my garage floor. The coolant evaporated before it did reach the floor.
