'72 a/c evap leak/failure....
Naturally happens when the summer is hottest....of course....spit oil all over the garage floor...so, noticed it not cooling worth a damn this summer, tossed in some more 134, then the leak...
so question is....IF it is possible for the POA valve to hang closed allowing pressures to rise enough in the evap to kill it...cause a burst....
or maybe it's just OLD and tired, like me.....
or maybe something else??
or maybe someone has a inside/aftermarket HVAC blower assy/coils they want to sell??
since the system never really ever did cool worth a damn with 134, I wondering if maybe to switch but NEW those aftermarket assy's are too expensive....
