Default C3 Carb question - stalling out

Installed a new Holley 1850S last Summer, I have about 2000 miles since then. All had been going well until now. I have a new issue which is it stalls out, and runs pretty rough. When coming to a stop it stalls out too, as well as just trying to keep it idle.

There is a ton of smoke coming out of the mufflers when I'm in idle, which is a rough idle at best. Had a heck of a time getting it to stay idle. I pulled the air filter to watch the barrels in the carb to see if it was flooding. As I was in idle, I noticed fuel trickling into the secondary barrels. I don't believe I should be seeing any fuel into the secondary chambers correct? Could this be a bad needle and seat? Any ideas out there?

Here is what led up to this issue.
This started happening last week. The fuel looks clean, I installed a new tank over this winter. But put in a new fuel filter yesterday, thinking perhaps that was an issue. I also pulled the bowls off and hit them with carb cleaner, and aired them out.

The only thing that will cause fuel to trickle out of the boosters (front or rear) is high fuel level in the bowl(s). This can be caused by a leaking needle and seat from either wear or dirt, excessive fuel pressure, poor float adjustment, or a sunk float. You can also get this from fuel percolation in the bowl but this is an uncommon cause. So, cleaning out the carb is a good first step but if you didn't removed the float and spray out the needle and seat to clear out any dirt, you didn't do very much so solve your problem. And yes, fuel dripping from the boosters will cause a terrible idle.

Thanks Gerry! Luckily I have a couple of new needle/seats ready to go. Perhaps I will just replace them altogether? Thanks so much!!!!!
