i have 235/60/15 and 215/60/15 on a car now but am looking at what MT has on offer and they use another system. how do i convert this tire sizing to what they use?
thanks elke that helps some what but i have not quite mastered it.
for an example dunlop , cooper, bridgestone etc write it as 235/60/15 now using that calculator i think the similar size is 26X10.00R15LT as mickey thomson writes it.
You can go to the various tire manufacturer sites and look up the specific tire you have and want. They have tables that list the overall diameter, width, revolutions per mile, recommended rim widths, and more. With that information you should be able to cross-reference anything you need to.
