I'm in the market for a new carburator for my 73 BB.
I'm was running an Edelbrock 1411 bought at a flee market and it's going into storage. The old 600 Holley I borrowed to test with smokes the Edelbrock.
I'm looking at the Holley 770 cfm Street Avenger model 0-80770.
If any of you are using this carb, I'd appreciate some feedback on how you like it as a street carb.
I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but my wish list is ready to go.
If you decide to go with the 80770, check Amazon's price. I bought the 80870 SA for the 427 and it was almost 50.00 less than Jeg's or Summit.
I think you'll be happy with your choice. Mine runs awesome with the 80870.
BTW you have a very sanitary and professional looking engine and engine compartment. Couldn't see much of the rest of the car, but if it looks like your engine you're going to have one killer car.

Thanks for the feedback and the nice comment on the engine bay.

Here's some shots of the finished product for ya!
Very very nice! You've built yourself one sweet 73. I would recommend you give serious consideration to putting steel-shields burn guards on the sidepipes. Sooner or later you or your passenger will get bit. I have them on the 68.
