Header gasket sizes on BB heads;
Looked at Summit catalog and choice is between Fel-Pro, Percy's and Earls. The Earls say they are for a 1.5" X 1.5" exhaust port opening which seems a bit small to me. The Percy's don't quote a size and the Fel=Pro's quote they are for a 1.88" X 1.88" port opening which seems about right.
I thought all the BB head exhaust ports were of a similar size. I really wanted to try the Percy's or Earl's based on good comments on the Forum, but I don't want to restrict any exhaust flow through the headers that I plan on installing soon.
Also, on the subject of headers the ARP stainless header bolts are avilable as a "12 point" or "hex" style. Hex I guess means "allen key". Which of the two do you prefer?
