replacing t -top weatherstriping??
I have just gotten the weatherstriping for my passenger side t-top on my 82 plus the adhesive and some other "Weatherstriping Stuff" I have a repair manual but it doesn't show this procedure...any tips out there??

There are screws on the outside of the weatherstrip that you need to remove (you probably saw that already though) the rest is just glued on and has those little feathered pins that go into the t-top frame. Just make sure you get all the old glue removed, then test fit the new weatherstrip so you get the glue on the right sides of the new weatherstrip, apply adhesive to both surfaces, let it dry, apply more adhesive to one side, then apply weatherstrip, but make sure once you put it down it's where it is supposed to be because properly applied weatherstrip adhesive is really sticky stuff.

dont thro away the old stripping,u might need to use some little pieces to raise areas of the new strip to secure a waterproof tight fit...it took me quite awhile to get it just right ..lol

Also, I did this with mine Take a grease pencil and trace the outside edge of the weatherstrip in the t-top. This will show you how to set the new one in, makes sure you have it so it lines up well. You can clean off the pencil mark with Simple Green when you are done. :D
