82 X Fire injectors
Are these rebuildable? This car has sat for a number of years and the fuel is very bad and the injectors looks a little crusty. I'll take them off and clean them but is there anything rebuildable in there?

I think if you put them in a ultrasonic cleaner or something like that you can get some crud out, that will normally make them like new, and i think there are also some o-rings in them that can be replaced.

I just pulled them off the manifold. The gas that was residual smells terrible and I'm sure it is somewhat gummed up. I'll pull the injector apart and clean it up. I have had many a carb apart but never a Cross Fire injector. Should be interesting.

We use a ace/asnu fuel injector flow bench - ultrasonic cleaner to clean and flow check tbi and port injectors. There should be a shop in your area that offers the service, I would also suggest replacing the fuel pressure diaphram, gaskets and the o-rings (that come in a TBI rebuild kit).
