75 really a 74? Ebay
Check out this vette and tell me if the bumper is right.

I thought only 74's had split rear bumpers. 75 is a solid piece. I dont' know if that applies to convertables though.

Re: 75 really a 74? Ebay (flood)
VIN: 1Z67J45422218
Range for 1974 = 1Z37J4S400001 through 1Z37J4S437502
In this case substitute 1Z37 for 1Z67 because it is a vert.

The VIN appears to be for a 74 model.
Not that I'm an expert or anything.

Something doesn't smell right here... :bs
I'm still wondering why anybody would buy a car based on half a dozen blurry photos and a "take my word for it but I'm not the owner" description.
There are cars with "60,000" miles that are a lot rougher than some with 160,000 actual miles! Care and maintenance have a lot to do with it!

It's a '74 based on the FRONT bumper, which was alike for '73-'74. '75 front bumper doesn't "v" down to the nose, if I remember correctly...

In the VIN the letter after the "J" indicates the year, in this case a "4". So it is a '74, not a '75.

Re: 75 really a 74? Ebay (verskel)
Being the 75 the last year of the convertibles, maybe it'd bring more dough as a 75?
Anyway, it's hard to believe in comments such as "100% correct under the hood" from someone that can't even get the year right...
