72 Vette: Front Turn/Driving Light Tech
Of course, a couple things need to be corrected/fixed.
The passenger side front lower light is out.
Removed amber lens and found amber bulb in there.
The "turn" function works.. but slow but no solid light when
lights are on.
Driver side has clear bulb, works fine.
Clearly, wrong bulb.. however two things:
1. When you turn the lights on, the right turn signal is light in the dash? If you flick the switch for a right turn it will blink in the dash and in the grill. Turn the signal off, no light in grill but dash lit.
2. Headlights. If High beam depressed, driver side low beam goes off. High beams off, driver side low beam works.
Also.. the driver side amber cover in the grill seems to be broken at the bottom screwhole. Any recommendations on where to find replacement with hardware?
Thanks!
Scott.
You can try to get just the one turn signal lens through Craigs list or Ebay but you can buy a pair of new lenses through most of the Corvette parts places (Ecklers, Corvette Central, Mid America, etc.). Paragon seems to have one of the better prices on these.
