1978 Climate Controls
I have a question, is the electrical slide switch (top bar)of the climate controls rebuildable? I purchased a new climate control system some years back, but never really got around to fully hooking it up.
This last weekend I did so and the the upper switch (the one that selects ACnorm ACmax Vent Heat and Defrost) doesnt work. No matter which selection I put it on I get no signal from any of the wires even though the hot wire is providing power to the switch.
Since it was purchased so long ago, I cant find the receipt and frankly even though I installed it all those eyars ago but never actually hooked it up.
I need to remove it from the car to get a look at how its put together so I am hoping that there is something I can do to make these connections work.
Thoughts? experiences?
