Heater hose routing
I am reconnecting hoses after being apart for some time.
I have read the posts to try and figure out the proper routing of my 5/8and 3/4 heater hoses. What I am unclear of is the two outlets on my expansion tank look like maybe 3/4 and 5/8 inlets on my vacuum relay that is mounted on the fender well. My current mnaul makes no reference to what goes where.
I have a 3/4 and 5/8 coming out of the heater core and a 5/8 coming off the intake and 3/4 coming off the water pump.
I am assuming the expansion tank gets spliced in the 3/4 line and the vacuum realy gets spliced in the 5/8 line. but if correct whats happens to the 5/8 pressure when the relay is off ?
If anyone has a diagram or can let me know what connects where I would greatly appreciate it. Also what is the best manual to buy ??
I have a GM chassis service manual that has a lot to be desired.
