How Difficult Is It To.....?
My '69 tilt/tele steering column wiggles in the one place I use all the time. If I tilt it up or down out of that "detent or hole", it is solid. The wiggling is more than likely do to a loose fit from 30 years of driving. Does anybody know what kind of job it is to fix this problem? I'm assuming I need a special part and the installation of course would involve dropping the column...but then what? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Mine does the exact same thing. If you get an answer, could you post it, as I know I need the information, and it may benefit some others as well.
