Help with engine identification, 76 305?
just got a chance to look at the engine vin on the frankinvett.

Only part of the engine identification stamped - 3CPB
From what I can find, this is a 305 out of a 76 Camaro? Sheesh, kid that gave us the vett had no clue if that is the case.
That's what I found, though I have parts for a 350 on it. Headers are stock corvette. Everything else is bolted up the same as a 350.
I suppose my question is.. now what? I could just rebuild this engine. Although small, it should suffice (I'm hoping to get to around 300hp when all said and done) Other than that I have no idea what to think about this.
