74 rear brake lock up??

74 rear brake lock up??
Guys
rear brakes on the 74 locked up briefly.... pulled everything off to have a look..naturally figured it was the emergency brake but all is good with that.. is a master cylinder a possibility? all appears to be fine now but dont want it to happen again..any suggestions?

So much for an easy fix! Can you tell us more about what was going on before the brakes locked up and how they unlocked?

Son came home from school (to get more money) school 50 miles from home was about a mile from home and he said it felt like it was draging and pedal was hard... rotors got quite hot given the blue heat marks, we let it sit for a 1/2 hours due to heat then moved all to start checking things... at this point it seems fine but do not want to have it lock up on him going back, so checking all possible issues. currently bleeding brakes so far things are bleeding ok
