Sorry. I misstyped. Correct part# is SPL30-1X and they are in fact solid.
Ordered another brand but got these instead as a replacement. Just wondering what I really got...

Both appear to be 1350 series non-greasable, solid U-joints, SPL30-1X apparently superceding the 5-799x number, but don't know if it has been re-engineered or simply a new part number system. Spicer is the best, BTW.
edit - Did some checking, and the SPL line is supposed to be an improvement, but installers are warned that hammering into place vs. pressing (where applicable) will destroy the unit.
