1981 electric fan replacement
Has anyone used the electric fan wiring circuit to run a different brand fan other than stock? It has a 30 amp circuit so could i install a different fan and a 185 degree switch and be done with it?
I have a mark 8 fan i want to install and eliminate the the belt driven fan,also a new 4 core aluminum radiator.

Most termo switches are not rated for the 30 or so amps and the stock aux fan circuit has way to many connections in it for my taste. ****** out the stock setup and put in the mark fan and add in a simple 1 switch, 1 relay system and you good to go. You can use the port in the passenger head for the new switch
